Woodend Cycles Shop
Located at 68 High Street Woodend, on the right just as you come over the bridge heading north, Woodend Cycles is a growing small business that does much more than just sell bikes. Owner, Russell Eckersley, focuses more on the 'getting out on your bike' aspect of riding, and has played a leading roll in the design and build of numerous single trail MTB tracks and Downhill gravity tracks in this region. We're about 5 pedals from Woodend Station, which is an easy trip up from Melbourne (or down from Bendigo). Grab a coffee at il Caffé right next door before or after your visit. And check out the various maps you can download on this site for off-road and on-road riding.
At Woodend Cycles, we have a simple array of cycling needs – from new bikes to shock pumps to tubes. We're a small shop that focuses on the essentials. We have a full-service Workshop that operates Monday to Saturday with experienced and ride-savvy mechanics.
We also offer bike hire. Click here for more details.
Woodend Cycles also runs bike tours through the Wombat National Park and other popular biking areas around the Macedon Ranges and beyond. Check out more about tours here.
Our workshop might be small, but its big on experience and specialist know-how. Both Russell and Tyler can trouble-shoot all mechanical issues, build bikes to spec and also specialise in forks and suspension systems across the board. We can build wheels, bleed brakes, and fully service shocks inhouse – with trusty suppliers for anything else that may need to be sent out.
